Not quite sure what reason you have to pity in this instance. Those are not bad for student films. Yes the jokes are rather blatantly dated but - 25 years ago.

Yeah, lol, but they were quite topical at the time...(notice the gremlins in the Jedi Lite commercial?).

"Kinda my point" as Wash may very well have said.

To put this into perspective: your student vid is better than the Holiday Special! Too bad you couldn't get someone's grandma to be the singing bartender.

Kidding aside, I liked it. I am old enough to remember the Bob Eucker "tastes great/less filling" commercials. That was Bob Eucker (can't spell his name) in those, right?

Yeah! Y'know, I didn't remember exactly WHO was in them myself.
And ya know, aside from shows like Miami Vice & Airwolf, and movies like Jedi & Aliens, I don't really remember the eighties all that well...I was out dancing all the time with my girlfriend (now Wife)...

Like Checkov, the only thing that was real to me was the girl

Saturday Night Chrisisall

Congratulations - you were in a much better Indiana Jones film than Shia LaBeouf.

Hey, has anyone mentioned if they saw Joss on an episode of ER this season? I would SWEAR it was him. The ep was called "The Truth Will Out" and it was where Dr. Kovac went to work at the hospice. I SWEAR TO GOD the busy absent-minded guy running the place was Joss, but I don't think he was credited and I haven't found any evidence it was him. There's a couple of photos here:

Mal-licious

I'm going to add cursing and the hurling about of things to my repertoire.

Hey, a Twofer thread! Love 'em! Nope, not Joss!
