Based on RL's announcement that he will end the Polls when the combined total votes between the Top 40 and the Nominations reaches 10 million (but no later than January 2, 2009), 98.68 (90.51) days remain to vote, based on current rates of voting (as with everything else in this Poll, this time will fluctuate). If we can average 1,000 Firefly votes/day, we can reach 750,000, three-quarters of a million votes! Let's shoot for that as a meaningful goal, and keep the daily average up!

Firefly is 146,641 (146,194) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #21 show Trapper John, M.D. 144,221. That puts us at 3,359 (3,806) votes away from a 150,000 vote lead, about 7.51 (7.15) days, based on current voting.
We'll get our next banner, for 670,000 votes, in another 2,740 (3,633) votes and 3.07 (3.59) days!
Our ultimate goal, 750,000 votes, is 82,740 (83,633) votes, and, 92.65 (82.56) days away! We're still on course in the effort to reach our goal on time!
7,248,497 (7,237,747) Top 40 votes have been counted as of 06/01/08. Yesterday, 10,750 (11,592) votes were cast. Our share fell to 9.2054949% (9.2068297%) of all Top 40 votes ever cast. Our share of the voting pie remains at 9%.
To be fair, in the Top 40, at least, EVERYBODY'S numbers went down, yesterday, except, for some reason, Charmed. Still, we need to pick this back up. I fully expect today's votes to lead to anemic results, tomorrow (though we could surprise ourselves!), but Monday's votes leading into Tuesday's scores ought to show some marked improvement. Let's see if we can make that happen, okay?
In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly and the Whedonverse, so, let's return the favor, shiny? We accomplish more together than we would separately! Let's continue to support our friends! Browncoats never leave a friend behind!):
#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 470 (541) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 275 (304) votes, yesterday, in 101.67 (84.47) days.
#7 show Buffy the Vampire Slayer got 471 (518) votes, yesterday. Currently, Buffy is receiving enough votes to pass #6 show Farscape, which received 301 (347) votes, yesterday, in 12.41 (13.33) days. Buffy is also in pursuit of the 6th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 4,391 (4,862) votes, and 9.32 (9.39) days, away, while Farscape is 7.58 (7.44) days from getting there.
Just a little over a week remains in the Hall of Fame race, and Buffy is still behind! Let's vote to get her out in front!
