I need an opinion on a piece I wrote that is not... well... a fic. It IS a story, but it's a true story, it is very relevant to the Firefly crew (and might be interesting to Firefly fans), and it absolutely belongs somewhere on this site. I'm just not sure WHERE.

I tried posting to fanfiction.net and was BURNED by people who apparently had only watched one or two episodes of the show and had no idea... they didn't catch the nuances of the tale, and they couldn't understand its relevance to Firefly. A true fan who reads it will probably understand.

I need an experienced reader to help me sort this mess out.

Any volunteers?

I don't know about reading it, but I would certainly post the story, perhaps in your own flylog. This site has proved to be a very open and welcoming one for many people who want to share parts of their lives that they feel have a resonance.

I was headed into the Blue Sun Room to see if there is an appropriate category, but it's not receiving visitors at this particular point in time.
