*Eyes our rapidly-dwindling daily average warily, and growls...*
Sorry I wasn't bumping, last night. The missus and I had company over 'til the very late, wee hours, so I was able to vote a lot, but that was all.
Late mornin' manual stats VOMP!
Buffy is still in need of your support to make the pass for the Hall of Fame, while Angel needs your help to advance!
Based on RL's announcement that he will end the Polls when the combined total votes between the Top 40 and the Nominations reaches 10 million (but no later than January, 2009), 105.38 (108.48) days remain to vote, based on current rates of voting. If we can average 1,000 Firefly votes/day, we can reach 750,000, three-quarters of a million votes! Let's shoot for that as a meaningful goal, and keep the daily average up!

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html
ALL three links work for voting, so if you have trouble, you can try an alternate address instead.
You can vote for more as many Top 40 shows as you like, once every hour. You can only nominate one show per hour, at:
http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/nominations.html
Download the FlyVote voting timer, a NEW version of the program. It'll remind you when it's time to vote, each hour: http://usbmicro.com/misc
Votes are counted per network IP, so, don't go to the library or your office and vote hourly on each computer on the subnet, or all votes will be thrown out; multiple votes on rotating IPs will likewise be rejected.
Top two shows as of this morning:
(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)
Total votes Firefly: 660,980 (660,131)
Yesterday, Browncoats voted 849 (844) times, 5 more than the previous day.
Yesterday was another voting train-wreck, what with the US Memorial Day holiday weekend, which ends today. Compared to what most shows got, that wasn't too bad, but we can do better!
Total votes Xena: 517,580 (517,095)
Yesterday, Xenites voted 485 (435) times, 50 more than the previous day.
(Xenites voted 364 (409) times fewer than Browncoats, yesterday.)
Firefly is 143,400 (143,036) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #21 show Trapper John, M.D. 142,840. That puts us at 6,600 (6,964) votes away from a 150,000 vote lead, about 18.13 (17.06) days, based on current voting.
We'll get our next banner, for 665,000 votes, in another 4,020 (4,869) votes, and 4.76 (5.77) days!
Our ultimate goal, 750,000 votes, is 89,020 (89,869) votes, and, 105.47 (106.48) days away! We're beginning to fall behind in the effort to reach our goal on time!
7,175,071 (7,164,160) Top 40 votes have been counted as of 05/26/08. Yesterday, 10,911 (10,590) votes were cast. Our share fell to 9.2121739% (9.2143537%) of all Top 40 votes ever cast. Our share of the voting pie remains at 9%.
In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly and the Whedonverse, so, let's return the favor, shiny?
We accomplish more together than we would separately! Let's continue to support our friends! Browncoats never leave a friend behind!):
#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 537 (472) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 291 (321) votes, yesterday, in 86.28(142.19) days.
#7 show Buffy the Vampire Slayer got 466 (428) votes, yesterday. Currently, Buffy is receiving enough votes to pass #6 show Farscape, which received 345 (314) votes, yesterday, in 26.66 (29.36) days. Buffy is also in pursuit of the 6th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 7,690 (8,156) votes, and 16.5 (19.06) days, away, while Farscape is 12.94 (15.32) days from getting there.
Just a couple more weeks remain in the Hall of Fame race! Buffy is falling farther behind!
#11 show Angel got 431 (380) votes, yesterday, receiving enough votes to pass #10 show Combat!, which received 332 (350) votes, in 28.11 (96.07) days.
Angel is moving up, again, thanks to your help!
#15 show Babylon 5 got 335
