I'm not in charge of this screening, I'm just re-posting information from the main Can't Stop the Serenity page.
But I know there were several folks in the VA, DC, MD area looking for a screening. So, NoVa residents rejoice! You have not been excluded from this year's festivities.

I've gotten confirmation from the Manager at Arlington Cinema 'N Drafthouse that we're a go for Friday, June 20th & Saturday, June 21st! It's not posted on their website yet, so tickets are not yet available, but start planning for it!
Friday's showing is late (10pmish?), and Saturday's showing is Matinee (12noonish).

No response. Huh!

Seems to be a trend with all the CSTS postings. I guess the only folks who are still interested in the Big Damn Movie and doing good works are the ones who organize the screenings. Seems everyone else has lost interest. That's too bad.
I hope there aren't enthusiastic organizers all over the country stuck paying hundreds of dollars in theater fees because they thought their fellow Browncoats would come out to support them.
I've seen plenty of dedicated people work their tails off to make sure this event gets bigger and better every year. And there is no reward except the sheer joy of seeing other Browncoats have fun -- but that's enough to keep them going. They all deserve a pat on the back, a shout-out for a job well-done.
