Seems to me that 900k by the closing of the poll is a goal worth shooting for!

We don't actually have until January; that's just the latest Rich will keep the Poll open, if the voting suddenly dropped off so much that it looked like it would go on past that point. With a definite cut-off at 10 million combined total votes in both the Top 40 and the Nominations polls, which currently stand at a combined 8,459,356, yesterday's combined voting total for both Polls of 16,266 leaves 94.72 days until 10 million is reached.
At current rates, Firefly can comfortably achieve 750,000 votes within that time frame, simply by averaging 1,000 daily votes or so, without changing our voting habits much, at all.
