Okay, here's a pic of my 3 dogs.
From left to right they are Bemmy, a Boston Terrier, Chance, an American Pit Bull Terrier and Gage, an American Staffordshire Terrier.
Don't let relative size fool you. Bemmy weighs in at 10 pounds and pushes both of those bigger dogs around.
The more I get to know people the more I like my dogs.

Gabe almost looks like a Boxer in that photo. Awesome dogs, what a mix of personalities.

Well, you know that Boxers prior to the between war era had a more pronounced muzzle. They really showed their common ancestry with the bull breed dogs, Am staffs, Staffy bulls, APBTs, American Bulldogs and Boxers are all close cousins. Some crossed out breeds include Bull mastiff, Bull Terrier and Miniature Bull Terrier and even the Boston Terrier, which used to be called a Boston Bull Terrier.
The Bulldog everyone is familiar with is a show only breed that originated in the late 19th and early 20th century.
Gage sure does act like a Boxer though, he tends to prance and articulate with his forelegs quite a bit.
