When I played Serenity got to the quarterfinals, beat by the Star Destroyer.

ETA (actually, got kicked off, so it made me make a reply instead):

What if you always vote for the other losing ships? For example, when I played Serenity always ended up against the Star Destroyer, so after the first time I made sure not to vote for the popular ship, so that in the successive rounds Serenity wouldn't be competing against a ship that I voted for in the previous rounds.

Will this help the odds?

Vump again. I can vote from the same computer on the same day several times but just not repeatedly back to back. Anyone figured out how long you have to wait?

When I get through all of the rounds, I just close the window, open the poll again in a new window and start again. Of course, it takes several minutes for me to get through the rounds, so that may be why it works.

And suddenly the Millenium Falcon has picked up a couple of hundred votes, shutting Serenity out of the voting. I have to wonder how that happened. I knew that the poll was biased, but I find that a bit suspicious.
