Hey, all -- this is Marian Call, Alaskan singer-songwriter (from the REAL Outer Rim).

First of all, if you haven't heard my music, you can find me here:

I have recently played shindigs in Texas and Southern California, where I was blessed with a rainstick by the San Diego settlers. And I'm a total Geek for the Firefly world -- my tour bus (under construction) is gonna have elements of Serenity in it. But my music's a little unusual; it's not your average filk. My main fanbase is not Firefly folks (though my favorite fans are all Browncoats). I've recorded a few Firefly-related songs, though I do more live.

I'm on tour in the Lower 48 right now, and I'll be playing at Stanford (my alma mater!) and in Santa Cruz next week. I wanted to extend an invitation especially to the Browncoat community -- if you show up at one of my gigs, I'll convert to Firefly song mode and possibly even sing in Chinese. I can promise you a good show in any case, though -- if you're skeptical, spend some time on Youtube and see if I can't win you over with my rainstick and my typewriter.
