FRIDAY! FRIDAY! FRIDAY!

After your favorite TV show "Firefly"

Scoop up your flak cannon and head to the Unreal Tournament to lauch rockets and eat lead with everybodies favorite space-cowboys.

The time has come for us to force our friends and family to share and enjoy the show we love so much. So after the episode tomorrow night I will be hosting from my own computer, an Unreal Tournament server containing the lovely hand crafted Firefly gaming skins.

I invite all who can to join me in Deathmatch wearing the visage of our favorite Serenity crewmates.

I also implore...beg...even request that some others who own the game do the same.

Set up some servers after the show that are running standard maps and have the free Firefly skins set up in the serverpackages. I can help anyone out with this if you need to find out how. I am asking people I know in the gaming community to do the same.

Quake 3 servers are welcome too!!!!!!

All names of the servers will be preceded by the word Firefly for easy searching and the addresses will be posted here in the thread.

Everybody tell all yer freinds and at least 10 random strangers on the street to watch Firefly and tell em about the death-matches.

If they have plans...tell them to cancel

That's right! I didn't get laid off or released from my contract a month early! I QUIT so I could watch Firefly every Friday night! YEAH!

(for some reason that doesn't make me feel better)

This will be the original for right now. The skins were made just prior to UT2003 release. The original runs on many more machines so hopefully more will be able to participate.

Now, that being said...For fans of the new UT, you will be getting a fully accurate complete recreation of the ship Serenity in the form of a deathmatch map. It is pretty maticulous work but should be accurate down to the pans in the kitchen. I have been working my arse off on it and will get it done ASAP for future fragging fun.

It was considered to do the map in Counter Strike, but a truly accurate represetation was not nearly possible in that engine. And the sci-fi theme fits more with the Unreal world.

I was waitin till the show was over cause I have to go to the gym to watch (I have no broadcast TV, yet I still watch Firefly)
