Lets hope his character has more friends than Jessica Fletcher had or it will be a short run. At least seven.

HURRAY!!! I so want to see Nathan on the TV screen for more than 3 minutes an episode. He definitely should be the main star of a show. Dramedy sounds like something that would be right up his ally.

May have been on the losing side, still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Is he a horror or mystery writer? I just posted the same news over on Shiny Universe and referenced a Zap2It article that says he is a mystery writer.

He could write horror/mystery novels.

I did notice the mystery/horror thing.
If you haven't noticed, in my post alone, with the news excerpt and the synopsis of the show, both are mentioned, so I have no idea.
Mind you, at least this show isn't on Fox. After FF and Drive, I don't trust them with Cap'n Tightpants.

No point in watching him on Desperate Housewives unless you are only satisfied with the "eye-candy" factor .He was not given the opportunity to really flex his acting muscle...disappointing really...though I know quite alot of women who are new Firefly/Serenity fans because of his brief appearances on DH,and they have subsequently influenced others to be fans (ie their spouses, kids siblings friends etc.) so I guess that's a positive. Hope this new series doesn't sink to the black murky depths of the cancellation ocean.

Yeah, Nathan is always a pleasure to watch and will usually steal whatever scene he's in. I couldn't bring myself to watch Desperate Housewives....it's just too bad (shudders at the thought). What I've seen of that piece of go-se always reminds me of Joey from Friends explaining the way you do soap acting, but with DH it isn't funny.

I'll be watching this though and I hope they make it different enough from Murder She Wrote so that it stands on it's own and doesn't get bogged down by the inevitable comparisons.

But he definitely needs more lead roles. Hopefully this is another step in the right direction.
