And I love (and not a quote) and wait for it during the delivery scene in Heart of Gold when River, looking intently asks, I wonder who's in there? I giggle every time to that one.
At the end of Objects in Space, when River (having just returned from Early's ship) says something about having to look after Simon, that line is pretty cute and really suits her.

OiS is also not one of my faves, but I look forward to when River returns to Serenity. Mybe it's the visual of her floating down, but also something either her or Mal says, like a coming home statement. As if Mal now accepts her more than ever before. Poignant.
And in Bushwhacked, waiting for the look on her face as she views the verse from her space suit helmet, ignoring terrified Simon, and then "can we go again" or similar.

I agree on the Objects in Space statement, it's an interesting connection they seem to make. And then of course, Serenity the BDM follows, seems fitting. This last time through Firefly (just finished it last night) I guess I'm just thick or something but I hadn't noticed the ball River focuses on at the end of Objects in Space looking like the planet Serenity passes in the beginning.....DUH. I'll be ok......
Getting back to the thread topic, how about the conversation Jewel had, I think it was in the Train Job when she's asked by Simon (I believe) about what was about to happen and if it was something they'd done before etc. She had a few good moments of screen time there and I recall her being particularly confident and memorable...

Jayne wasn't pawing Saffron to be a perv (much), he was trying to be comforting, in a dumbass way. It's the bored way Kaylee pushes him away that cracks me up. Just "Oh, for god's sake, Jayne."
It's just the fabulous everyday sarcasm of it that gets me - just folks, living their lives. The cast had such great timing that it seemed perfectly natural.
"Yep, that went well..." (Because...Naked Nathan! I suppose it was too much to hope for some naked AB *sigh*)

i love the whole War Stories torture scene (not the torture itself, cuz thats just mean -_- *kills niska*) but the whole mal and wash arguing back and forth about their thoughts on and relationships with zoe XD completely ignoring the situation theyre in. and all that stemmed from "not so, there's plenty of my orders she didnt follow" "name ONE" "SHE MARRIED YOU!!"

all rucked up. She want to know if he's drunk.
He'd like to tell her about Jayne being a hero
but between the drink and the giggles he can't
communicate. So very realistic!! Gets me started
every time.

FloralBunny I really get a big grin on my face over that one too(the drunk Wash).
Also later when they're driving by on the mule and Zoey says " Jayne! Is that really him? Someone pinch me I must be dreaming!"
The surprised reaction of Jayne is like, Gorram,word gets around really quickly around here. Then his responce," Hell I'll pinch ya!" is perfect character interaction. It's great!

edit: watched OMR last night and for the first time noticed Jayne's little "Oh...purtty" pat of Saffron....I tell ya I laughed aloud.
