Edit: The only thing is, instead of just copying and pasting the image location, you should create a Photobucket account and save the images there. Then, you don't have to worry if the image location changes and you don't have the image anymore.

lolz.

how would it get confusing? I'm on a couple forums that literally have about 60/70 smileys built in. its just instead of typing in :*name*: you just click on the smiley and it inserts it into your message. 'course, those forums also have quickreply so you dont have to keep clicking "reply" you just type in ur message at the bottom of the screen and hit submit :-P

so, question. how am i supposed to save the motion smilies, then subsequently get them to photobucket as is? since u suggested photobucket

Well, it would get confusing if there were hundreds of different smilies (I have around 200; some people have a lot more).

Just right-click on the images you want and "Save Image As" to your computer, then upload them to Photobucket.

yeah i did that, only my rightclick options show "save picture as" and..it still didnt save the motion smilies as motion smilies... *cries*

i do believe 'smilies' is just a general term. its a synonym for 'emoticons' which is what they really are. :-P

Not if proper = appropriate and correct = true. Then, substituting the synonyms, Properly Correct = Appropriately True, which is pretty much what I take Politically Correct to mean. And, then, of course, appropriate in this case = inoffensive, because the whole point of using one word or name over another is to avoid causing offense.

I guess I could have said Politely Correct, too, but I didn't think of it until just now.
