I have discovered the best dessert ever. It's a three-layer chocolate cake, with ice cream as the middle layer, and it had this huge mound of whipped cream with chocolate sprinkles..... *sigh*

Lucky you. I have to do the theory, hazard perception, practical and the bit where they ask you questions about the car like how do you check the oil levels and you have to answer them.

I don't know that. I thought that's what the AA was for.

Oh I'd totally fail that test Hobbleit... I have no idea how to change my oil..I know that you should every 3,000 miles, but I just take it to someone and they do that...I am definitely not mechanically inclined

Gah, evevryone should at least be able to check oil, water levels and tyre pressures! Means you can prevent you having to ring the AA, or RAC etc.

Have they changed the theory test again? When I sat it there was no questions about changing the oil and such...that was limited to a few quick questions on the day of the practical. When you're got the car in front of you its much easier to take a good guess and blag your way through.

I just realized all I have is your ols email address. Here's the recipe.

Cake:
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup of sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of flour
Glaze:
2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons of butter
4 tablespoons of dark corn syrup
2 teaspoons of milk

Cake: Boil corn syrup and butter in a saucepan, add chocolate and stir till melted, remove from heat and add the sugar eggs and vanilla. Stir till well combined then mix in the flour. Pour into pan and bake on 350 degrees for 30 mins or till toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool before you add the glaze
Glaze: Cook the chocolate butter and corn syrup over low heat till the chocolate melts. Remove from heat then mix in the milk, then pour over cake.

Hello all... remember me? I am not really the resident Aussie anymore coz I am now residing in Kent, the Garden of England!

I have missed you all but life has been... eventful! Wonderful but... eventful!

I have been here exactly one week and I am still getting a feel for things but feeling more and more at home every day... I will tell you all more about the 'events' when I have more time and I am not quite so exhausted!

Just wanted to wish Hobbleit all the best for her driving test etc... (I'll look out for you on the roads!) and I have missed you all - especially MsB (li'l sis), Whimsy (EH sister!) and Jimi-bear!!! MsB: Magda is right, arnica gel works wonders on bruises and strained muscles. If it weren't for that, Tylenol, and my heating pad I'd be in dire straights sometimes.
