Yay, another chance to blow money on a movie I already own in 4 different versions - and I won't even be able to watch this one.
Still, shiny news.

FireFly Coming to Blu-ray

20th Century Fox After some digging, TVShowsonDVD.com has discovered that Fox is planning to extend the upcoming 'Firefly: The Complete Series' DVD set to the Blu-ray format. It still early too early to discuss special features and specs, but being a Fox release, fans can expect a 1080p AVC video experience accompanied by a DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack.
As soon we learn more about this upcoming release, we will post it here.

Having a PS3 seems like an even more fantastic things after hearing this news, i can't wait to buy it and watch this amazing show in HD!

I'll buy this on Blu-Ray, even though I cannot afford the player for some time. I'll contribute, but be very sad that I'll have to wait so long to see the "cast reunion" goody that's supposed to be on it.

Now that the format war is over, this just might be the thing that tips me over to getting a HDTV and Blu-Ray player. Just maybe, as it's still a lot of money.
