Yesterday we had 133 Noms. Another weak day and on a day when Torchwood had a great one. What should have been an easy pass today, now may not happen. The critical factors are if they have a better than average day and if we can manage a slightly better than average day (lately). Taking the current gap, and adding their average of 62 means our magic number is 152

Anybody who cares to correct me, please, jump right in, but, my interpretation of vumping orthodoxy is that a hat trick results from three, consecutive, uninterrupted vote-related posts, not just a span of time. Otherwise, one could, in theory, vote three times, vump the last time, and, if nobody else's vumped during that time, claim a hat trick.
I affirm that it is posts which bump the thread which count.

Those folk think they've got the 'Unjustly cancelled' corner locked up. Hah! At least they got a few seasons (didn't they? I never saw it...).
Well, I'm watchin' the numbers...
With all genuine respect for the Rangers (we really do have a lot in common with 'em!), they, at least, did get more'n 14 episodes, and, much as I loved our BDM, I'd've much rathered have had 7 more episodes, too.
At least Jericho is still bein' actively courted by Comcast and Skiffy (though the negotiations will likely result in a lowball offer for production costs). I wish 'em luck. I also wish Comcats and Skiffy (well, mebbe not so much Skiffy, but, any port in a storm, I guess) was courtin' Firefly.

I'm not wishing ill on the Rangers at all, just wishing better for us 
SciFi could do it - if they wanted to. Two, maybe three really well done shows (*cough*Firefly*cough*) would get their viewers up & allow 'em to charge more for advertising wich would let 'em make more good shows...

This is the one where I ask the Nimsters to make every other Nom for John Doe so we can put it back in front of Thomas with a substantial lead.
(We did nearly two hundred yesterday, so that would be significant)
The damned system mass-mailer is glitching and keeps giving me an error message. It hasn't done that in weeks, but I needed to get this out early, so by the time it starts working again, will will lose God knows how many John Noms.
