Silly, don't you know that this is a magic thread? It's rainbow-y-ish- any color you like is in the thread.
Why would you want it shipped? You wouldn't want it to get seasick, would you? And why would you suggest molesting the poor thread?
You think this thread would be wound up in spools, and be half-hidden? And the length in infinite- you seriously don't think we'd limit the thread, do you?

Oh, no- it's a complicated business involving a trek to Antarctica, an ice dragon starting to eat me, and it made me a dragon bod since it ate mine. It's cool you know about PERN, though, I read one of those a long time ago.
