Absolutely no rush. I believe the cargo bay scene is about 40 minutes ahead of the bridge scene. I was worried I was taking too much time so I accelerated an hour.
Squee, Merz, feel free to enagage in small talk with Jayne while we wait for a convergence. Maybe now is a good time to ask Jayne why they're securing the cargo so tight.

Just wanted to check and see if you will need BADGER later in your story arc. I might need to use him for the Thorne/Inara spinoff, and want to make sure he's not two places at once.

If you want, Badger can just send his minions to the drop -maybe because he knows Thorne will be there. Thorne can 'deal' with him later in your Inara/Thorne sidebar.
BTW, the description of the drop-zone is in one of the interludes. I am a suppozin' you did not read it or just plain fergot.
