East Lansing Browncoats! (Michigan)

Hello there! I'm memorysdaughter, Sarah-Beth, and I'm the proud founder of the East Lansing Browncoats!

East Lansing is a city located in Michigan just a few minutes out of the state capital, Lansing. East Lansing is home to Michigan State University, where I'm a student.

I call myself an "accidental" Browncoat... I watched "Firefly" on Fox when it was first aired, then got involved with "Alias" and forgot all about it. In September 2005 I attended an opening-night premiere of "Serenity" and I was in love.

I'm looking for folks in my neck of the woods to have shindigs with, and possibly to start a FF tabletop roleplaying group. (The books were my Christmas present.)

I'm also up for traveling - I work in different parts of Michigan, including Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Mount Pleasant, and Mayville, and I live part of the time south of Ann Arbor.

I hope to get to meet some wonderful Browncoats in my area!

Hiya! This is the first time I have been on these forusm myself. I like you Memory have had a simaler experience. I LOVE the show when it was on FOX. I was sad to see the show go away and get cancel, but I sadly did not know about the huge fan base it had behind it! I recently seen the TV series on DvD at blockbuster. I was so happy to see all the episodes again!!!
