Yeah, and almost nothing in my life has been in synch lately

*lurks around some more* I really should do some homework...

It's so quiet here.

Everyone must be busy having fun somewhere else.

Which is not necessarily bad.

Not me. Mom's making me watch this movie about Queen Elizabeth I, and keeps pausing it to lecture and rant at me, and try to make several point in one drawn-out speech. And I still need to do my homework!

And you're right, 'bout it not being bad that almost everyone else here is off having fun.

Is your mother a historian? She sounds quite impassioned about something in the movie.

How can you be watching it and typing online at the same time? I am in awe of your multitasking.

Perhaps the homework could be used as an excuse to escape the movie/lecture...? (Note: for this to work you actually have to *do* the homework. Trust me.)

Well, actually, this a break, she had to go out and smoke a cigarette (at least they're doing it outside now...)

And it really isn't anything in the movie, that's getting her impassioned, something in the movie will make her think of something and then she'll pause and lecture me on what the right way to do something, and then get off-point, and lecture me about something else, and go on and on and on....

I'm afraid I can't use the homework excuse because I'm supposed to do it right when I get home, but I want to be able to vote and check my email first, so I just don't tell them, and do my homework later in my room, but that didn't work yesterday because they were having me do some stupid stuff (rant will come later), and not today either because they've been making me work some more.

Why must they assume that weekends are a time to work? I look foreword to weekends because I get rest from working, or at least I'm supposed to.

Oh, and she is something of a historian, she is practically a history guru (and lectures alot about women's rights. Don't get me wrong, I like women's rights, I just don't like getting lectured at about them by her. And she'll lecture about how badly women were treated in the medieval ages, or in the Eastern culture, or everywhere today, or in ancient Rome, or or or... )

'Watched the hockey game It's kind of a tradition to watch NHL hockey on Saturday night in Canada (there's this show called Hockey Night In Canada [HNIC for the ladies & friends] ever heard of it? Yeah, I guess not. Well it has like the highest ratings you can get on canadian television. Hockey's like a modern religion up here, it's kind of freaky.) 'Game just ended, our team (Montreal Canadiens) won 3-1 (so I'm all smiles ). We had a pretty good year (tonight was the last game of the regular season, the playoffs don't start until next week) and the boys have a fair shot at the championship, so things are bound to get "very interesting* over the next few weeks ^.^
