Here's another alto sax request from a neurotic mother desperately trying to find some way to keep her 12 year old practising!
Thanks for the guitar version!

It's Greg's piano score. It has the main theme music and many others. It was just recently made available.

I tried my hand at the theme song for the banjo.
If you are interested you can find it under "TV and Movie" themes on my blog at

Sincerely,
AJ

the violin part is posted and it's in concert pitch which means no transposing required. Just pick up your fiddle and play. If your guitar player friend plays the part as listed in the old transcription with you it will sound perfect.

I may be wrong, but it looks as if you transcribed this from the MIDI file, not the MP3 of the actual fiddle part. It's not quite right. I've taken a shot at it myself, and I played my part along with the MP3 on my fiddle, and it sounds about right. I need to borrow a scanner from someone, though, so I can put it online for y'all!
FunkNinjaNine:
In measure 5, the first 5 notes of the fiddle line should be Cb Bb Ab Bb Cb. The second-to-last note of the whole part is a D, not an Eb. There are a few other discrepancies that you'll see in my transcript once I get it scanned, but your part was pretty close, and a really big help, especially with the time signature changes and rhythm.

Hey guys! I double checked my transcription and no worries...It still holds. The source music for my transcription was the DVD of the TV show, so if there are midi files and other mp3s out there I am not aware of them and they played no part in my transcription.
FiddleFly: I am not saying my transcription is perfect or anything, and I am curious to see what other discrepencies you found, but the ones you pointed out are not correct. Cb's and Ab's over that Gmin chord would sound pretty wild and stick out quite a bit.
The second to last note in a lick like that would probably most often be a D, but it sounds like an Eb to me. I am hearing a major 3rd for that last interval but it's rhythmic position makes it not really matter.
