To explain the emoticons: There's this sci-fi convention that me and my dad go to every year, they have a worst metaphor contest. And, I just came up with the perfect entry for this years contest:

The idiotic firefighter, instead of keeping the hose aimed at the fire, sprayed water everywhere; kinda like how a chicken spurts blood as it's running around the yard with it's head cut off.

I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a winner; this is way better than the one I came up with last year, and that won second place (my dad got first). I hope that this year, I'll get first and dad'll get second

stupid cold. Sort of comes and goes. I don't feel particularly awfl, just sore throat, bit stuffy in the nose, fever, and swollen glands...hmm oh well.
