The Omega Man was better than I Am Legend, after all.

I remember thinking that Omega Man sorta trashed the novel 'I Am Legend', but Will's new movie made it look like a faithful adaption by comparison.
Why did 'sick' zombies have 4 times the strength & agility of a normal person? And why did they look like 'toons? And why can't Hollywood make movies without bein' stupid?

SPOILERS===========
I never read the book. Always liked The Omega Man. Seemed better than Legend. They both had cool mustangs. Sam should have got a doggie oscar. Legend had more of a vampire feel to it. Omega had zombies who had intelligence. Movies like these need where man meets woman. He is not suppose to be alone.

"Battle of Serenity, Mal. Besides Zoe here, how many-" "I'm talkin at you! How many men in your platoon came out of their alive".

The whole thrust of the novel is that at what point do you become the outsider- the monster- the aberration?
This was addressed in Omega Man "You're the angel of death, doctor", but almost completely glossed over in I Am Legend...but having your foes not able to speak does put certain limitations on the narrative.
