Well everyone its been a while since I posted anything on the forum but I wanted to give every one an update on what I have been doing.
First, I've been doing some freelance work for an upcoming Serenity project at QMx: http://www.quantummechanix.com/HOME.html
I can't tell you what it is but it is going to be cool!
Second I have been doing a lot of modeling for the Bellflower Firefly Fan Film: http://bellflower.sigil777.com/
The small version of the teaser trailer (previewed at the Serenity LA Convention) is posted here-- requires DIVX codec:

My Serenity 3d Modeling Tutorial which was originally posted at the Lightwave Group can now be found in PDF format here:

So if you want to build your own Firefly class ship you can.
Here are some pictures of the final movie version of Serenity which I built:

The TV version of Serenity which I built in 2004:

Wow! I mean holy moly wow!!! These are fantastic. I love your vision of New Melbourne. The cityscape looks like it belongs in a movie.
Well done!

Nicely done! Awesome to see a fellow 3D Artist around here.
Was this done in Lightwave? I've never used Lightwave; I've tried 3dsmax in the past, but I use Maya 6.5 now.
Very nice work! A lot of those textures look great! I especially love the charred jet exhaust areas, they look great. What resolution are they?
Also... Wireframes? :D

Download the trailer and prepare to be really impressed. Mind you, all the really good stuff will be in the film, but there will be a couple of scenes that will blow your mind.
