Btw, I never said the drive was easy. I didn't drive to get to Corolla, it was someone else. I just remember it being a really long ride on a two lane highway.
Though, the islands are lovely, of course.

I posted this info on our local Yahoo group. And now some of the Browncoats from Charlotte and Greenville (and in-between) are calling for a road trip.
Not sure when yet but it's gonna happen. Anyone in the Sandhills or PeeDee wanna meet up with the caravan?
Personally, I can't wait to see the artwork.

Congratulations! I remember when you first posted about this project. It sounded like so much work and fun. Now you've got it up and running!
Wish you'd get one going in -- oh, Pismo Beach or somewhere not so far from my house as NC.
Or how about Lompoc? It's near a spaceport, after all. Who knows who might land and wander in?

Also, if you go to Yahoo, and then click on Maps at the side, you can type in your city, and the destination, and it'll give you a road map. You can even print it out!
