I used to teach. Loved it (mostly).

Teachers are intelligent (despite any evidence to the contrary. It's possible I'm a little biased here!).
You need to be intelligent to truley appreciate Firefly (again, this is a bit of a generalisation - I'm sure some people just watch the pretty lights without contemplating the underlying metaphysical subtexts).
Therefore all Browncoats = good teachers.
(Even unofficially, teaching of the brilliance of Firefly as per Freelancer above)
