Could that be about Inara? I remember her saying that Mal never could operate her shuttle, so maybe that quote was along similar lines?

Since it's been a dasy, I'll also say it's not about Inara or shuttles. But it is from a scene already utilized in this thread - an ensemble scene, with all 9 BDHs.
Also, I just checked for accuracy, and the quote matches what the script says. Haven't checked against the DVD.

well, the sir kinda gives it away as zoe to mal, but I'm lost as to what ep, as i don't remember her EVER saying that..and i know the series pretty gorramn well.

Um...is that where they're (Kaylee, Captain, Zoe, Wash, Jayne, & Book) are playing some sorta ball game? Mal says something like, "You think I could pitch her off the boat, if she does that again?" (Kaylee makes a shot). And then Zoe says that.
