As awful as Highlander 2 was... At least it had some funny moments. I really wanted to get my money back for Highlander 3! And it was a showing in a special rated theatre, where they showed movies on a sort of rerun. Converted to USdollars, I think I paid about one dollar... But I wanted it back! Desperately!
Apart from that: if a show or movie is cheesy it makes up for the bad, I guess. Some shows are a whole lot of fun when not taken too seriously. I had a great laugh watching Tremors the movie for example.

The last one and a half seasons of Lexx were pretty terrible, but the first couple were great, well story-wise anyway. The acting wasnt so great, but the story was good. Also as bad sci-fi goes, I found that Farscape was insanely hard to get into, I mean I'm all for in-story but JESUS H CHRIST, you can't just pick up and episode and start watching without being completely lost. Mutant X and Andromeda are pretty bad now, but Andromeda used to be good. I think that the best part of Andromeda is the names of the episodes. Whoever said Babylon 5 was bad should be shot... unless they were talking about Crusade, then you're ok.
The last 2 Matrix movies weren't terrible, but they were definately in the bad catagory.
How about Timeline and Paycheck... yeah just plain bad.
You only gotta scare him.
Pain is scary.

Well I just have to say that there was only one Hightlander movie I don't care what anyone else has to say there is only one.
Earth 2 that sucks so much, especially at the end of it. Andromeda when down hill so fast after the guy that developed the series was given his walking papers, MutantX could have been better but went down hill fast after the first season. Voyager I couldn't watch the show anymore after the first three episodes. Logans Run the TV series don't work for me. Day of the Trifids the movie was not good the TV min series was way better. It didn't end with Salt water being the solution. No solution was around. There as a time when on network decided to spend the Summer airing a whole bunch of sci-fi tv pilots and they all stunk one was another version of the Knight Rider series taken place in the future where civilization has taken a turn for the worse Knight Rider 2010 with Hudson Leick, come to think it the Team KnightRider series had a smell to it.

Besides Mutant X which I absolutley despise and am very relieved that it will not be tainting our screens again in the future, Andromeda lost the plot after season 2 so I gave up. As for the Matrix Reload - eek didn't even watch the third one, like Highlander for me "there can be only one". And Mercy Point, which I had completley forgotten until this post refreshed my memory dear god! I'm pleased that other folks don't like Starship Troopers either its frelling awfull - but I have too say I rank both B5 and Farscape with the best!
The single worst Sci Fi ever - a series that was shown here in the UK by the BBC several years ago, it was a Gerry Anderson production (loved Space 1999 etc) called Space Precinct. It had some bloke in it from Knots Landing I think he played someone called Gary? Anyways it is The worst ever...........and then some. Trust me, its very..........well,absolutley frelling CRAP!!!!!

Firefly, Farscape and Stargate SG1 are my favourite sci-fi series. I watch all of them on DVD. Firefly started airing about four weeks ago, and Farscape is on rather irregularly on a very inconvenient time (sunday mid afternoon or so - nor right for dark humour and scary plottwists and Scorpius). Stargate SG1 was aired on a weekday at four in the afternoon ages ago. Aparently the channel manager thought it was a kid's show...
Btw, Firefly is running on primetime on Saterdaynights here (The Netherlands), against Andromeda and Idols... I'm not sure how well it is doing. I'm telling everyone in my family and my colleagues to go watch Firefly.
