Wow. I am so excited. Getting the comic was the first thing I thought of when I woke up this morning and finally I got it. I love the story and I love hearing the character's voices in my head. I love going back to the verse. I genuinely hope they keep continuing the story in comic form because at least we'll be getting SOME new material. I just had a general quesiton for those who have read it: Does anyone know the translation of the Chinese? And with that I'll throw it to the rest of you: What did you think?

I know at one point, Wash calls Kaylee xiao mei-mei (little sister). Most of us won't know until this site, http://fireflychinese.kevinsullivansite.net/index.html, translates everything else.

I am THRILLED to see my BDHs, and they look so pretty (the drawings are great)...
and the story is wonderful & exciting!

I could have used a little more River, but I'm guessing we'll see more of her before the end....

And I'm happy to know they are already thinking about the Book spin-off comics!

I couldn't find it at my local Borders (might be they were already sold out?). Any place else a body is like to find it? Other than an online order that won't arrive till April?

regular bookstores don't usually carry comic books (single issue comics, they do carry graphic novels and other bound copies)

google your zip code + comic book store
and call your local comic book store owners and find out who is carrying it.

My local store ordered a whole bunch of extra copies, I think because he has come to know that the name 'Whedon' on the cover always means a lot of people wanting to buy the book.

as far as ordering online, I've always been happy w/midtowncomics.com
look up Dark Horse release date 3/12/08
they won't charge extra for the comic, and they will get it mailed off to you within the week
