Ernie has been with me ever since I moved in 5th grade. During middle school, I had few people I would consider friends. I spent many hours with Ernie both outside on lazy sundays either playing fetch or going on some epic adventure. She was with me through high-school and all of college. I would come home every other weekend and she was always their to welcome me. In two weeks I will be moving away from home 15 years later. Ernie made it all those 15 years, being a confident, a companion, and a friend. Last night I took her to the vets E.R. and found she had a fatal stomache condition and had her put to sleep. You were a damn good dog, you will be missed.

Thanks MSB, I was pretty broken up about it. Two nights ago she was fine and then all of a sudden she wasnt. On a happier note, good luck with the move and your new job.

And the other day my man and I were talking on the phone (what a shocker!) And we decided to take photos of us talking on the phone... me!

And (currently) the only pic of 'us'... (who'd have guessed it...?) 
And this time next week, I'll be in his arms!!! 
The farewells are just about killing me though...
