Well ain't that vumpin' something?
Interesting article Jstn. I even went to the US Patent office website & looked up the patent.
I've heard about such things for years, and knew they'd 'theoretically' work, but 'the story' always involves the patent being bought out by a either a big oil company or a car manufacturer (in conspiracy with big Oil) to suppress the technology.
Seeing as how nothing like this has made it to market yet (24 years later), I'll have to conclude it was either bought by big oil, or there's some sort of engineering problem (perhaps it requires excessive maintenance?).

After coffee, am now thinking straight (somewhat- it's still morning).

Stats for noms-

John Doe- 1 vote (since yesterday), passing 0 shows

What's happening with John Doe (Thanks for the stats Leopard)?

I Nom'd it once yesterday and but no one else did? I will throw my Moonlight Noms in that direction instead, as Moonlight is doing very well.

This is much of my "Daily Report" I send to Surface fans everyday. Since there are some here, I will share today's...

Yesterday we got 122 nominations. That's outstanding. Our record so far is only 8 Noms higher than that.
Superb job.

Road to Avonlea had better get a new map, because Surface is on the road to the top
And Big Wolf on Campus didn't get a passing grade, but Surface did as we passed them handily.
