Still think we need a recruitment video with Tristan giving a brief overview of the 76th and general costume stuff, then clips of shindigs and the march... maybe with some nice music.... I'm just saying:)

Hey folks! I haven't been about too much recently (looking for a job and a college) but I thought I'd say hi.
Sister, I'm so sorry to hear about you mother. My mom nearly died last October and that was hard enough. *Hugs* and well wishes.
Tankobite, I also understand the lack of funds thing. I have nearly nothing for this uniform right now. I'm still trying to get my SCA armor together (been playing for about a year) and am currently unemployed. Bleck!!
Also, how do I join the 76'th forum? Is it just a matter of registering on the site?

I'm already working on a recruitment video, though we probably ought to put in some video of the march, as right now it's just airsoft battles from various shindigs.
Kayna, you are one of the ones who slipped through the cracks, and I apologize for that. I take care of all of the incoming applications, and I know I have seen yours. I will re-check it when I can this weekend, and you should be activated soon.
One thing you can do is make sure you are signing up for the forums with the same e-mail address that you sent in your application with. In fact, if you want to send me that e-mail address (james dot spettel at robins dot af dot mil) I can pass it along and guarantee you are activated tonight when the Colonel gets on.

Well, its not the funds per say; I have a great summer job, its just I'm trying not to overextend my recreational activities: Reenacting, Airsofting, Bagpiping (eventually I'll have to buy an actual set and a kilt and what not for my pipe band). I'd rather take care of one thing at a time.
RIVERISMYGODDESS: I think I'll register on the boards, at worst I think I will get the patches for a friend at least (He has the BSG ones, but I think these would be cooler).
I'm a big fan of TANSTAAFL too!
Edit: For the board I'll need to send in an application, no? Haven't done that yet, but I'll need to for registering with the boards to go through, right?

okay, so now my poor little car - which got stuck in the mud in our field yesterday as I was trying to drive over to my storage shed is now covered with snow and ice. It will be June before I can get it out (spun the wheels until it sank to the floor boards. I are a dumb ass.
