ok must control fist of death.... getting really damn sick of my administrator picking at me and trying to make it look like I am not doing my job. A teacher emailed about curriculum and he made a snide comment about me needing to deal with the kids behavior...so I emailed back that I would just as soon as the kid has any.

ok and we're still on this trying to make me look bad thing( administrators) gotta love this. I say I'm quitting and their response is to set up a smear campaign. Worked here almost two years and all of a sudden I can't do anything right even though my observations and evaluations say I'm great???

You are great, It's them who are the ones who need serious evaluation. I'd keep offering the sit in for your classes and I'm sure they'll keep refusing. because hear say is better than actual evidence.

so, here's a ponder (wrong thread, but i don't care) for all you good citizens:
what good are asterisks or other symbols in place of a few select letters in "swear" words? are the words really that cleverly obscured that no one who's below the age of 16 would be able to tell what they are? i mean, is it really better, or more wholesome, or more "child-safe" to read that asterisk-filled type than the actual word? after all, you're still thinking the same thing (or saying it, for those who can't read without moving their lips). or do people really think (say) to themselves "deh-star-oochec-star-cks"? or does the use of these symbols alleviate some sort of guilt people feel for thinking and typing such horrible naughty things?
