I suppose its inevitable in a thread like this that every SF series in existence will eventually get a mention, since not everyone has the same tastes.
Well, except Firefly, of course.
Still, its remarable to me that anyone could lump the unambitious but consistent and fun Stargate SG-1 in the same catagory as Andromeda.

I'm just suprised no one brought up "Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone"...wait I just did. Okay, bad movie, but has Molly Ringwold so not all is lost. Hey I got a thing for redheads. 
Another one I'd add as pure cheese is "Ice Pirates", but I like cheese. Cheese is good especially when you know they're thinking,"Man this is cheeeeese." during filming.

I'll show my age here too, I guess.
"Dark Star" ... the end, which involves a panicked attempt at discussing phenomenology with an intelligent bomb about to go off (and take the ship that was supposed to drop it along with it) ... the end is *very funny*, but the zillion hours of tedium it takes to get to that point is hardly worth it.
... on another note, wasn't Battle Beyond the Stars the one with John Boy Walton as the hero? You've got to admit, the costuming of the buxom babe mercenary was inspired. LOL!

Yep that's the one! But even more inspired was the "is this different enough from the Enterprise yet so we won't get sued" ship he flew, complete with 36D titanium breasts!
Man they just don't make movies like that anymore...Thankgawd.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Lexx yet I try to give shows a chance to catch my interests but I couldn't sit through an entire episode of Lexx.

Yes. I also think that ship was the inspiration for the Enterprise D. It looked very similar, all it needed was the Dome section.

How could I have forgotten Lexx! You what else really sucked..the ending to the nw Planet of the Apes movie. All the way through I'm like,this movie is awesome and they're gonna make a cool ending that would mean a sequel I KNOW IT! But then they didn't..and I was sad.
Star Trek, really. I mean voyager..come on...don't tell me they were brilliant, because sometimes I just wondered why this was the new star trek show. Good old predictable Voyager.

AAAHHHHHHHH!!! I love the end of that movie. Yeah, it's so bad, it's good. And the bomb is hi-larious. It was a huge coup for me that my dad and brother allowed me to come along and see that bad thing. Now, what was it playing with? (remember when movies were double features?)

Oh, about the Trek movies. Yeah, some of them were bad. However, I think ST2, 4, 6, and 8 were solid enough.
i just don't know tbh, i couldn't get into it maybe i watched it upside down to everyone else...
i tried on numerous occasions to watch it but what really ended it for me, wasn't really the shows fault, i never really got much intake on what goes on the TV.. this is why i've probably got a bad sense of good and awful sci fi, worse when star trek is always put on, the DS9 theme still sends me shivers.
