It's alright to post misleading thread titles, right? Just wanted to freak out anyone who hasn't seen the ep.
Anyways, I really thought he'd died. I was like, shit, this guy lived for 200 years, and was showen of both Buffy and Angel for a good 4 or 5 years, and is resurrected as a ghost after giving his life to save humanity, and than *that's* how he finally dies?
It was cool, though, 'cause with a non-Whedon show, I would have known that it wouldn't really have been the end for him.
Anyways, it was pretty cool how Gunn was rescued - when the beast removed his own heart, that was cool. I liked the time-warping effects; real interesting. Funniest part was Lorne: "When did you realize I was following you? Was it in the elevator, 'cause that one was tough..." Funny stuff, that.
And now Angel decides to sacrifice his morals to...get into the Senior Partners' good graces? Or is it something else?
And there's now three episodes to go before the final big apocylipse, and no one knows who to fight, how to fight it, or when it will happen. How are they going to have this big fight at the end? And how will they do it without involving the Slayers (by which I mean, if it becomes a real life-or-death, good-vs-evil struggle, you'd think they would come to help out...but we know there'll be no SMG.
So...I'm a bit confused.

So long as you don't mind having folks (mostly females) screaming up your e-mail in protest over misleading spilers - the same ones who won't read your cleverly posted comments ... SURE
personally, it makes no never mind to me. I read spoilers and summaries to keep up, but it's never the same as seeing the episode

wouldnt it be kind of funny if sarah michelle gellar was actually in the last episode. like the whole thing where she said she couldnt make it to shoot the show and joss didnt write a part for her. i think it would just be kinda of nice, but sorta weird cause how the hell would she respond to spike and angel. who knows.

I let out a loud gasp when the dust started flying! I mean, that's just the sort of thing Joss would do to us! But when Wesley and Lorne were killed, I knew "blondey-bear" was alright.
I never really knew I cared so much for Spike until I thought he had been taken away!
3 episodes left...I can't even begin to imagine where Joss it taking us.

I felt much the same way. Cause I know damn well if a character is going to die, its going to be like that. Doesn't seem terribly common they give you warning when they actually vanish...

I was just waiting for Lorne to say something, you know, after he'd been "killed", cause we all know he wasn't dead. It's too bad they didn't play that card. But yeah, I def freaked out right when she killed Spike, cause that's such a Joss thing to do.
