The lower travel expenses will help, as the auction has essentially wiped me out financially for the year. However, it is for a good cause.

Shall I assume that you were my great and worthy opponent? If so, then I must congratulate you as well; $4010 was my absolute last bid, and I was shocked that it was enough. I was pretty certain that I had no chance after my $3680 bid held up for less than two minutes.

I am working at getting a venue for our screening, and I am really looking forward to it. Hopefully, it will draw a good crowd. As much as I would like to hold on to some of the shiny swag I just purchased, most or all of it will probably be auctioned off at the screening, if we can get high enough bids.

If you find that you are going to be in the Houston area, earthgirl, look us up (houstonbrowncoats.com), jump on our messageboard, and let us know; we shindig at least a couple of times per month, and would be glad to see you.

I try to stay below the radar most of the time, so my waves are often difficult to trace.
