What's Your Favorite Scene From Firefly?

I think one of my favorites is in Jaynestown when river strays across Shepard with his hair down and freaks. That hole sequence is hilar.

You have to remember Firefly was about the lower class of the galaxy, not about being in core planets. Even then, all of the planets and people were living lifestyles originating from earth.

For me, it has it all going on....the singer in his funny hat singing that wonderful song I love, the young mudder who worships Jayne groovin' along to it, and even the bartender singing along in the chorus, not to mention the hysterical reactions of the crew.
Absolutely, camera work and the expressions on the other's faces was priceless ,few thing shown on TV.and film can make me Laugh out loud.This did One of the funniest scenes ever.

My favorite scene? When the credits were going up and the show ended. Get a clue you people! Firefly is DEAD, GONE forever!!!
All the actors are older and have gone off to bigger and better things. Grow the fuck up people!

My favorite is when Simon almost kisses Kaylee in the corridor in OIS. So much passes between them and then its all lost when Book pases between them. Great scene.

It took a long time here, but finally someone chose the same scene I chose...hoooray! Seriously, you obviously have outstanding taste and impeccable Firefly accumen. Truth is, everyone who has responded so far has offered terrific choices & reasons why they love a particular scene. This thread has been my favorite since I joined. Thanks everyone!

some other of my favorites is
"i'll be in my bunk"
on the serenity ep... when kaylee is telling jayne how "easy" it is... and he give her that look.....
and.. of course the "HUH" when mal opens to reveal the "girl in the box".....
so many of them... my head hurts!!!!
i need to watch firefly... again....

Two ensemble scenes stand out for me, one in the pilot and the other in the finale.
In the pilot, I love the scene where Simon is telling the crew about River. The bit that gets me every single time is this line:
"We could have sent her anywhere, we had the money, but... she wanted to go. She wanted to learn. *voice breaks* She was fourteen."
In 'Objects in Space' I love the scene where the crew argue over River's fate. Not only do you have the dramatic tension over the very real danger the crew is facing, and some genuinely funny moments "...she's in congress?" but once again Simon says something so simple that brings the emotional impact home.
"She's just a kid. She just wants to be a normal kid."
