The Xenites votes from two days ago beat ours from today!
Now I won't say that's unprecedented, but it has certainly been a while since that's happened.
C'mon folks, time to dust off those keyboards, clean out the mouse, crack your knuckles (if you're so inclined) & VOTE!

Voting once is nice, but voting regularly is what we need.
Once when you wake up, once after each meal (if you're diabetic (not that I'm wishing it on anyone) that's 6 votes a day right there!), once between each of your favorite shows (or two), once before bed... Easy to do & they add up quickly.

Help us out here!?

Manual mornin' stats VOMP!

(Smeghead nom!)

Remember how the daily vote totals sucked, last Saturday? Well, it looks like we had a repeat of that "stock market plunge." Saturday does, indeed, appear to be the new Friday, with depressed totals pretty much across the board, most substantially impacting normally high-scoring shows. I still don't know why that might be, for sure; I did note some reports of trouble voting. Just keep in mind that yesterday's drop should be considered anomalous, and, not indicative of long-term trends, and, we can hope for better things, tomorrow.

http://www.richlabonte.net/tvvote

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html

ALL three links work for voting, so if you have trouble getting into the site in heavy traffic you can try an alternate address instead. I recommend bookmarking them all, for rapid transition, if you have trouble voting.

You can only nominate one show per hour, at:

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/nominations.html

Voting efficiently (i.e., with minimal time between votes, over the requisite 60 minutes) is crucial to maximizing your voting power. Download FlyVote by FlyVote (a fellow Browncoat voter, so, you know the program is good!). It'll remind you when it's time to vote, each hour: http://usbmicro.com/misc

Top two shows as of this morning:

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

Total votes Firefly: 576,110 (575,311)

Total votes Xena: 470,179 (469,580)

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 799 times (1,041). Epic fail!

Yesterday, Xenites voted 599 times (656).

(Xenites voted 200 (385) times less than Browncoats, yesterday.

Yesterday, Browncoat votes fell by 242; Xenite votes fell by 57.

Firefly is 105,931 (105,731) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #24 show Star Trek: The Original Series 105,632. That puts us at 19,069 (19,269) votes away from a 125k vote lead, about 95.35 (50.05) days! We still need to widen our daily vote advantage, Browncoats, if we want to meaningfully increase our lead!

We'll get our next banner, for 580,000 votes, in another 3,890 (4,689) votes, and, 4.87 (4.5) days!

Our next big goal, 600,000 votes, is 23,890 (24,689) votes, and, 29.9 (23.72) days away!

6,139,624 (6,128,825) votes have been counted as of 03/02/08. Yesterday, 10,799 (12,253) votes were cast. In order to take ownership of 10% of all votes cast in that period, we needed to vote 1,080 (1,226) times, of which we fell short by 281 votes. Our share fell to 9.3834738% (9.3869707%) of all votes ever cast. Our share of the voting pie remains at 9%.

In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly):

#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 485 (528) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 318 (346) votes, yesterday, in 369.08 (211.82) days. BSG is also in pursuit of the 5th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 27,138 (27,623) votes, and, 55.95 (52.32) days, away!

#7 show Buffy got 446 (547) votes, yesterday. Currently, Buffy is receiving enough votes to pass #6 show Farscape, which received 330 (367) votes, yesterday, in 176.88 (114.63) days. Buffy is also in pursuit of the 6th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 54,621 (55,067) votes, and, 122.47 (100.67) days, away, while Farscape is 103.34 (93.82) days from getting there, first.

Buffy's still fighting to get and stay ahead in the Hall of Fame race!

#11 show Angel got 398 (473) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to pass #10 show La Femme Nikita, which received 202 (197) votes, yesterday, in 7.37 (5.94) days. #12 show Little House on the Prairie got 290 (329) votes, and, is not currently receiving enough votes to pass Angel.

#33 show Dark Shadows got 407 (421) votes, and, is currently on track to pass #32 show, Star Trek: DS9, which received 225 (235) votes, yesterday, in 23.89 (24.35) days.

Thanks, again, for your time, and, for your support of these great shows!

P.S.: For those who are interested
