Manual mornin' stats BOMP (a combination of Bump, Nom, and, Vote)!

(And, another promissory nom for Red Dwarf!)

ALL three links work for voting, so if you have trouble getting into the site in heavy traffic you can try an alternate address instead. I recommend bookmarking them all, for rapid transition, if you have trouble voting.

You can vote for more than one show at a time; just check all the boxes you like, then submit your vote, once every hour. You can only nominate one show per hour, at:

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/nominations.html

Voting efficiently (i.e., with minimal time between votes, over the requisite 60 minutes) is crucial to maximizing your voting power. Download FlyVote by FlyVote (a fellow Browncoat voter, so, you know the program is good!). It'll remind you when it's time to vote: http://usbmicro.com/misc

Top two shows as of this morning:

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

Total votes Firefly:574,271 (570,210)

Total votes Xena: 466,884 (466,438)

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 1,061 times (936). Much better!

Yesterday, Xenites voted 446 times (471).

(Xenites voted 615 (465) times less than Browncoats, yesterday.

Yesterday, Browncoat votes rose by 125; Xenite votes fell by 25.

Firefly is 104,387 (103,772) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #24 show Star Trek: The Original Series 104,279. That puts us at 20,613 (21,228) votes away from a 125k vote lead, about 33.52 (45.65) days!

Our next, big goal, 575,000 votes, is 3,729 (4,790) votes, and, 3.51 (5.12) days away.

6,078,614 (6,066,225) votes have been counted as of 02/26/08. Yesterday, 12,389 (11,511) votes were cast. In order to take ownership of 10% of all votes cast in that period, we needed to vote 1,239 (1,152) times, of which we fell short by 178 votes. Our share fell to 9.3980475% (9.3997507%) of all votes ever cast. Our share of the voting pie remains at 9%.

In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly):

#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 563 (528) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 370 (317) votes, yesterday, in 204.29 (187.78) days, or, .56 (.51) years. BSG is also in pursuit of the 5th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 29,948 (30,511) votes, and, 53.19 (57.79) days, away!

#7 show Buffy got 575 (470) votes, yesterday. Currently, Buffy is receiving enough votes to pass #6 show Farscape, which received 364 (348) votes, yesterday, in 101.4 (177.1) days. Buffy is also in pursuit of the 6th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 57,250 (57,825) votes, and, 99.57 (123.03) days, away, while Farscape is only 98.5 (104.08) days from getting there, first.

Buffy is closing in, fast, in the race for the Hall of Fame; she just needs to keep up the pressure!

#11 show Angel got 479 (441) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to pass #10 show La Femme Nikita, which received 184 (173) votes, yesterday, in 9.54 (11.6) days. #12 show Little House on the Prairie got 331 (329) votes, and, is not currently receiving enough votes to pass Angel.

#34 show Dark Shadows got 465 (453) votes, and, is set to overtake #33 show JAG, which got 177 (168) votes, in 2.39 (3.42) days.

Thanks, again, for your time, and, for your support of these great shows!

P.S.: For those who are interested in Moonlight in the Nominations Poll:

#53 show (#13 in the Nominations Poll) Moonlight Total votes 15,562 (15,282)

Moonlight got 280 (235) votes, yesterday, not passing any more shows. It will take at least six more days to pass The L Word.

AND...

Surface 2573
Robin of Sherwood 2499
How the West Was Won (1977) 2494

Two more shows passed (they're gonna start to come like that, the higher Surface climbs), and, 83 Nominations votes! Not too shabby!

(this is not a vump - it's an answer to Jstn) yes, that' is why I am anxious - my mom is now non-responsive - she's also 600+ miles away and I don't think even if I left right now I would make it before she slips away. Death is part of life but for those of us left behind it is a hardship. My sister (who is there) and I both are hoping she finds peace soon.
