Inappropriate links being spammed to the site

Hi, there. Just wanted to point out that some creeps have been posting inappropriate links to porn sites as "Reference" websites. To see the listings I am speaking of, click on Firefly Swarms, go to References, and then the links at the bottom of the page.

Can we clean this up or otherwise remove the automation that allows stuff like this to get through? I was going to send my friend's 12-year-old a link to this site, but now I'm afraid to do so....

I also found the links attached to the fanfic site at http://www.fireflyfans.net/webdir.asp?c=fanfics and by the list of things they must be taking up tons of memory space besides being extremely inappropriate for little ones. Is there any way to stop this Haken?

Bump.

Ok this is sad. It's been a month since this was brought to attention and there's still porn links. As well as a whole lot of other crap that doesn't belong there.

Hello? If it's that serious then do something more drastic. I'm not clear on running a website but I'm sure my fellow Browncoats could do without fanfic links for awhile until this gets fixed. Last time I checked none of those things were related to Firefly. Well at least the show... one of those things does come into some of the fanfics I've heard about...

Your cool Haken. I didn't mean to be hard oh ya or anyone else. I get handling a website can be a lot of hassle. Thanks alot.

This site is now.... mostly safe for the Browncoat young'ns. I say mostly since I just saw some dweeb post a porn link in the chat room and someone else asking for links to Inara/Kaylee smut fanfics.... while they were holding an infant they claim. Sorta sad and creepy. Guess ya can't really control the chat room completely. At least it doesn't save.

Haken awesomeness totally seconded.

I have this totally cool, tho likely false mental image of him being lean and tall in an old school state trooper kinda way, complete with leather jacket, mirrored sunglasses and a wad of hubba-bubba in one cheek, grinning at us...

He just strikes me like that.
