Does anyone else ever get to the point where there are so many things that need to be done that you don't know where to start and you just want to do nothing instead? That's how I feel today. There's all sort of emails and problems flying around and I just want to say f' it all.
I'm sure I'll start chipping away at it though. Stupid work ethic.

Zeek buddy, you sound like you need some time to yourself. What do you do away from work? Judging from your willingness to start chipping away and the work ethic comment you truly do work hard. But what do you do to relax/recreate?

Last night was poker night. That was sorta fun. Except that I didn't end up placing in the money. Though really it's just a friendly game and not about the money. Other than that I usually just relax at home. I think we have a local browncoat housewarming coming up this weekend. I'll attend that.
But that work ethic thing tends to get in the way of recreation time as well. For instance monday I got a call from someone at work and I helped out with a problem for a few hours that night. Which pretty well cuts into the relaxation factor. The problem is that I know we're on a tight schedule and that those few hours really helped us meet deadlines. I know for my own sanity I shouldn't even have given them my cell number but whatever. I'll live.
