I'm too late to even wish everyone a happy half price candy day...

Thursday I had to help make site tokens.
Friday I helped prep the dinner for Saturday. I was in charge of onions. Lots and lots of onions. (But I got to do the ginger too!)
Saturday I showed up to lend a hand a little early and ended up grating ginger again.
Then I got to peel the onions for lunch. (not so smile).
The rest of the day was spent mostly enjoying myself at the Feast of The Seven Deadly Sins. (annual local SCA event)
Gluttony features prominently and is a perennial favorite!

Then this morning I woke up at 7:30, wandered downstairs, sat down for a requested cuddle with the boychild, and suddenly remembered I was supposed to be at a friends house learning a new skill set. Oops. Hopped in the car and had an edificatin' morning, then came home and realized I hadn't actually checked email in four days.

Hope everybody had fun.

Barkeep! I just tried the most amazing stuff!
You take kirchwasser, steep sour cherries in it for 3 years, drain and press the liquid out, add some sugar and bottle it, then let it sit a further 7 years.
It is July in a bottle! I just wanted to sit there smelling it all day....
Where is that pesky nirvana hovering smiley when you need it?!

Black-magics-gone-wrong aside, weekend was dull, monotonous and uneventful

Oh and my arms hurt like Conditioning teacher had me (5'11, 145 lbs with arms roughly the size of your average twig) doing chin-ups last week, and my wretched limbs are sore still.
