Then they're still beautiful, my eyes are just a muddy, dark-ish blue/grey, and you can't even tell half the time what color my eyes are.
i would be willing to bet, though,
that you just haven't given your eyes enough attention...
darkish blue/gray sounds lovely.

How about we come to some form of compromise Master?
We'll continue to believe that your eyes are wonderful and you can continue (to be wrong) to think that we are a bunch of loons.
Sound fair?

hmm or I could do a research study ( double blind of course) with pics of eyes and ask a random sampling of 1000 people which eyes are the most beautiful... and when yours are the ones chosen you will have to accept that your eyes are gorgeous!!!

(/sarcasm on) So, I thought I'd pop on and share some cool new pics from the last week. I've had an exceptionally fun time these past few days! (/sarcasm off) Those who are on my friend's list on MySpace know what's been going on (I think).
Here's what I originally posted in my blog when it happened:

Posted as a bulletin too. Just in case folks don't read my blogs.
So some have heard, some have not.
The Dorito, she's been munched.
Translation: My Dodge Durango was totaled last night.
While visiting my extra special friend last night, some yayhoo decided it would be a fun game to try to evade law enforcement officials whilst under the influence of alcohol at rates of speed that at times exceeded 90mph.
During the course of this nifty new game he had created for himself, he decided to disregard a posted stop sign and thought my Durango would be a most excellent inanimate object to allow his car to mosh with. You would be amazed to find out that an '03 Dodge Durango is really NOT an immovable object when struck by an unstoppable force that is a teeny tiny Chevy Cavalier. Yeah. :(
So my super, extra special friend and I (can't call her my girlfriend, that's a title and we're just not there yet, but I really like her so she's super extra special) were just settling in to watch "Wedding Crashers" (yeah, gotta love THAT). About an hour into the movie, we hear sirens and squeeling tires. Then came the BOOM that was completely unmistakeable. I knew instantly what that was.
So I look out the front window at the empty place that was my Durango. NEATO! My truck learned a new trick! How to make itself disappear! Seriously. Nothing there! Well, except the Sheriff's cruiser that was slowly pulling forward to a stop and a little white car that we had no idea was about. About 10 feet in front of where the front of my poor little SUV was I saw a steaming pile of soon-to-be paperclips that USED to be a Chevy Cavalier. At this point, I'm still not seeing my sweet ride anywhere.
Melissa had already opened the front door by this time and was looking outside. As I was putting on my coat she looks at me and suggests that I not look outside just yet. Couldn't help but giggle from the look on her face. I knew I had to get the visuals over with, so out the door I go. At first I STILL didn't know where the Durango was, and then Melissa pointed at it.
Did you know that an '03 Dodge Durango, while in a stationary state, when struck in the rear by a Chevy Cavalier can actually move approximately 70 feet forward? And did you also know that during that forward movement, it is entirely possible for it to take out wooden fences, two 4x4 mailbox posts, and it can move another stationary pickup (circa. 1970ish) and entire vehicle length? Not only that, but did you know that it is entirely possible for an '03 Dodge Durango to attempt to emulate an accordian?
Did you also know that they do not make cars like they used to? Of course you did. And I'm betting that you already knew that the pickup, although it was moved, sustained only a minor dent to the taligate and a broken bolt on the bumper.
So here's the scoop. No, I wasn't in the vehicle. It is totaled. I am SO happy it was sitting where it was, because I am fairly certain that had it not been, that car would definitely have hit the house, and either would have landed in our laps, or would have definitely made life miserable for Melissa by destroying a very vital part of her house or car. I had (have) full coverage on the Durango and have since been given a rental to drive. We do not know the condition of the driver as of yet. We are fairly certain he was care-flighted out to the hospital. His car is more toast than mine, but mine is more important to me.
Oh, and to add insult to injury, when I got home this morning, I found that my internet is down at my house. So I'm again relegated to answering questions at work until I get that caught up.
This too shall pass. Just wishNOTIFY: Y | REPLY | REPLY WITH QUOTE | PERMALINK | TOP | HOME
