As a matter of fact, he does cook. You should try his Dal! Maths acceptable (engineering undergrad), references upon request, and all his particles are in constant motion as appropriate to the species.. the rest depends on the accelerator beam you provide him.
You're right about the finances, only 12 or so years to retirement age.. but he's probably going to keep on scientificating until they make him stop or the grants dry up.
