Oh- and we did not download the Firefly eps from XBOX Live. It didn't looks as pretty & from what I understand.....writers get 0 dollars from the downloaded episodes.
Good thinking, Spacegirl32. Also will they even get a cent from the HD airings? If any writers deserve our support 100% it's them. If they weren't I'd just not even watch them in HD.
@dappa Welcome to the boards. It's good to see enthusiasm like that from new recruits. Oh and it's Joss.. not Josh. Alot of folks make that mistake. I did at first too.

Don't forget Jewel Staite is on Stargate Atlantis now. She's doing great there. Her possible love interest on that show is so different from Simon it's hilarious. Oh and Morena Baccarin is in the Stargate SG1 DVD movie coming out in March I believe. Though shooting is done of course and I have no clue what she's doing now.
I'd be fine if we never see anything else on the big or small screen. I really would love it if it could continue but I'd rather have what we do and not risk the studios pressuring Joss into making the series without one of the actors or obtaining the rights and forcing Joss out if his views didn't match theirs. Then we'd be stuck with crap that ruins our beloved 'verse. And everyone else would be convinced bringing it back was a bad idea and we wouldn't see even a comic book again.

We're Workin On IT ! ; be patient ,
will 'ya ?
Patience? I really don't wanna deal with her again! :)
Seriously, though, I wasn't quite getting whether the whole link was just a gag, or a wishful thinking thingy, or how that works exactly. Are there really plans to bring out an HD DVD/BluRay version of firefly? Is that really the case? 'Twere mighty shiny if 'twere!

I just got into Firefly and watched every episode this week, finished last night. I am kind of sad that show is gone, but it made the movie make more sense to me. I say we need a second movie and a third. I am very happy that they are going to re-air these in HD. But will they release them on Blu-Ray, along with the movie? Nice to see that others feel the same way.

I'm assuming that it's going to be broadcast in 1080i, like last time.
Saved as .ts files, the last broadcast of the series was 46 gigs in size.
If it's 1080p it will probably around 100 gigs, give or take 20.
But I'm pretty sure Universal HD broadcasts 1080i standard. If anyone knows for sure, let me know.
