Well I was part of the Jericho "Nuts!" Campaign against CBS and it was a lot of fun watching the You Tube vids every day of all the nut deliveries to their NYC offices. 
I think we should have sent Fox bao. That or apples, Griswalds optional.

For what it's worth here's my opinion.
If the items are to be donated, which I favor 100%, I suggest some sort of Protein Bars. In order to be donated they need to be in original condition i.e., boxes if sold in 6-8 packs (granola type bars) or foil (Luna bars) if sold separately. They wouldn't cost much to mail or ship, either, and more people can do this.
This way we could use the "protein" angle of Firefly and the "Fruity, Oaty Bars" angle of Serenity.

state , and helping them find needed services...
This is Brilliant thinking , SBAR !
A lotta Folk would benefit from such donations...
Should oughta work to set some dates to make this
happen , contact the SoCal Browncoats to
co-ordinate the logistics , and maybe find some
charitable corporation to commit some product to
help boost our efforts...( Kellogg , Quaker
Oats , Shaklee , etc...)
Can't hurt to ask !

I am a new fan of Firefly and I would be very interested in joining in with any campaign to revive the series or help to create Serenity 2!
I read the iMDB Firefly forum and it seems like every day there is a new fan who posts about hos great the show is! Imagine all the new fans who don't read iMDB?
This is my favourite sci-fi series of all time and although I live thousands of miles away from the USA I can still join the fight for Firefly!
