Thanks Ray, it was a long hard battle to keep everyone on the trail to vote. I'd have to say the majority of Gunsmoke fans are probably 45 and older although every year it surprises us when the young'uns join the Gunsmoke gang. Thanks I believe to SAB too, I think I saw something in the last thread about congratulations to Gunsmoke fans after she had done her stats one day. So thanks to anyone else that helped push our total over the top. I know Gunsmoke fans are now aware of Firefly, lol.

Well, Marshal, you simply cannot ignore what the Gunsmoke fans have accomplished, especially over the last month or so. I pay pretty close attention to the numbers, and, you can tell that a lot of dedication went into that last drive to 250k.
As for new fans, well, some folks still recognize quality, whether it was made yesterday or 40 some-odd years ago. Hopefully, this latest success has garnered Gunsmoke some of the same attention that Firefly enjoyed, for example, as a result of rising through the ranks of TV Vote.
If anyone asks you what good TV Vote is, you can tell 'em: It gets the show attention, and, it brings new fans. Bragging rights are nice, but, keeping the love for our shows alive is what's most important!
