Thats what I was Thinking. The guy who talks most about a sequel is the one least likely to be in it.

Well maybe they've figured something out that'll bring him back, like some scifi gooey "bring wash back" formula that we don't know about... then again... maybe not, But you never know.

I'm sure he'd be around for a flashback type cameo at the very least. Otherwise Joss might still have something up his sleeve.

Maybe a prequel to Serenity?
Something showing those "early fun days", with just the crew, before Book & the Tams.

I wouldn't mind a prequel too much but if it was a sequel there could be no Book and Wash. That's how the beautifully bittersweet 'Verse works. Actions have consequences...even heroic ones.
