Lindale, I too was wondering why Inara hasn't recieved a vote. I think that she's so elegant, beautiful and cultured, most men and women feel a little intimidated by that unearthly presence. Maybe that's why Mal is rude to her. It makes him feel a little more worthy to knock her down a bit; even the playing field?
