I agree with NV on Kenshin as far as anime goes, but only the first two box sets. After the Legend of Kyoto the stories get rubbish.

Yeah. A little out of character for a period story, but some of its fun. That and the sappy ending I always melt over.

I've seen some of the retooled original series in HD, and I have to say it's pretty impressive visually, Spock looks greenish(I don't like that) but the new scenes of the ship and planet exteriors rock. I will stick with the standard dvd sets that I have!

There are few other shows that I love enough or aren't shown in reruns enough already. As for Trek I only really like TOS, TNG, Voyager and Enterprise and they show those in reruns all the time.
P.S. I may have to get this Remastered TOS I'm hearing about for my dad's B-day in March.
